She's a little loud in closed spaces, but once i'm heading down the road at 2000rpm, it's as quiet as can be in the front seat. So have at it boys, which one. Summit says shouldn't be a problem. A lot of conflicting info on line. Some info says i must use 2 primary tubes as these 451's are 1 3/4 primary. In case it is a consideration, i believe tti (and hooker super comps) are equal length tubes, while doug's are not.

My question is who may have advice on getting the z bar installed? Also, my headers rubbed against the steering box, and had to be shimmed over. In case it is a consideration, i believe tti (and hooker super comps) are equal length tubes, while doug's are not. Some info says i must use 2 primary tubes as these 451's are 1 3/4 primary. Fyi, i had to clearance the right side of the lakewood bellhousing. Edelbrock is impossible to reach by phone. Those header tubes eat up a lot of room. I used hooker super comps on my cuda.

Definitely need a plan and possibly modify the linkage to the fork. Also, my headers rubbed against the steering box, and had to be shimmed over. As the header business grew it became doug's headers. I can get dougs coated for almost a third of the cost and just as great construction.

Next weekend i will find out if there is any performance difference with the bigger tubes. That explains some of the fitment issues. Having gone though what i've gone though with the headers, i would have just done manifolds. A buddy has doug's on his charger and they fit good, and he is not concerned with the possible hp loss of unequal tubes.
